The Kid Can Swim! Spot learns to swim part II
We took little Spotty up to Bear Lake for more swimming fun. Bear Lake is great because it stays shallow for a long time and he can run along the bottom chasing sticks. I think he is starting to like full on swimming. He would paddle for a while and then turn towards one of us to pick him up when he needed a break.
We may have had something to do with his level of muddiness in the above photo.

Summer Fun Update
The other day a friend took us to Benson Marina to go slaloming. Basically water skiing using a single ski designed so the feet are secured one behind the other.
Matt got up and skiied for a long time!!! Wahoo

Spot learns how to swim, part one
The other day we took our new raft and spot over to Porcupine Reservoir for the day. Spot loves the water but has always been too afraid to actually swim. We decided it was time that he learn so with a doggie life vest and our coaxing we gave him his first swimming lessons. The life vest is for our rafting trips but not because he needs it swimming.
